I am working on a project where I will be building a city out of styrofoam cups. As the city gets larger, the plant I have will die. It is a comment on the lack of concern for the environment in the United States. There are multiple alternatives to styrofoam. Coffee shops could use paper cups or they could use eco-foam. Eco-foam is the better alternative because it is 100% biodegradable and does not require paper. As the project progresses I will be posting images.

Not many people are aware of the occurrences within the environment unless it is discussed in percentages or through pictures. This makes us visual learners. By looking at the “city” of Styrofoam, this tells us that not only are we looking at a quiet death by the loss of our natural oxygen, but also a sudden lack of environmental space. What I mean by that is that people will basically become slobs since they may not know what to do with the cups until it is already too late.
