I am working on a project where I will be building a city out of styrofoam cups. As the city gets larger, the plant I have will die. It is a comment on the lack of concern for the environment in the United States. There are multiple alternatives to styrofoam. Coffee shops could use paper cups or they could use eco-foam. Eco-foam is the better alternative because it is 100% biodegradable and does not require paper. As the project progresses I will be posting images.

I think the blue lighting gives it a more nocturnal feel to the set, especially with the dark surroundings. It makes it more mellow, in my eyes. Also, the little bits of detail displayed makes it almost "a night in the park" setting. Not a lot of movement is going on, but it's just enough to make one admire the silence. Of course, when I say movement, I am referring to the swirls of light on the bottom of the display.
